Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Trials
Alzheimer’s affects millions of people worldwide every year. Together, we can work to create a world where no one has to suffer from this illness. But we can’t do it alone. We need volunteers to participate in clinical trials in order to aid in the development of new treatments. Scroll down to learn more about the clinical trials we offer.
Patients with Alzheimer’s Disease with psychosis
A 14 week double blinded and 1-year open label of KAR-XT to treat patients with Alzheimer’s Disease with psychosis. Travel is provided/reimbursed, and compensation is $120 per visit. Visits are every 1-4 weeks, and the staff works closely with Caregivers and patients to provide in depth care. Following the study, there is an option to continue in an open label extension study (patients are guaranteed the medication following the 14-week trial for one year). Patients must:
Have mild to severe Alzheimer’s disease with
moderate to severe psychosis
Are between the ages of 55 and 90
Diagnostic imaging (MRI/CT) is available at no cost to the patient as needed to clarify their diagnosis
Participating in clinical research allows us to connect patients with innovative forms of care. Additionally, clinical research helps to advance medicine for generations to come.
